Глава 4

1 Царь Сулейман правил всем Исраилом.

2 Вот его главные сановники:
Азария, сын Цадока, – священнослужитель;

3 Элихореф и Ахия, сыновья Шиши, – писари; Иосафат, сын Ахилуда, – летописец;

4 Беная, сын Иодая, – начальник войска; Цадок и Авиатар – священнослужители;

5 Азария, сын Нафана, – начальник над наместниками; Завуд, сын Нафана, – священнослужитель и личный советник царя;

6 Ахишар – смотритель дворца; Адонирам, сын Авды, – надсмотрщик за подневольными рабочими.

7 Ещё у Сулеймана было двенадцать наместников над всем Исраилом, которые поставляли для царя и для царского дома продовольствие. Каждый из них должен был поставлять припасы на один месяц в году.

8 Вот их имена:
Бен-Хур управлял в нагорьях Ефраима;

9 Бен-Декер – в Макаце, Шаалбиме, Бет-Шемеше и Елон-Бет-Ханане;

10 Бен-Хесед – в Арубботе (ему принадлежали Сохо и вся земля Хефер);

11 Бен-Авинадав – на возвышенностях Дора (его женой была Тафат, дочь Сулеймана);

12 Баана, сын Ахилуда, – в Таанахе, и в Мегиддо, и во всей территории вокруг Бет-Шеана, что рядом с Цартаном, ниже Изрееля, и от Бет-Шеана до Авель-Мехолы, и даже за Иокмеамом;

13 Бен-Гевер – в Рамоте Галаадском (ему принадлежали селения Иаира, сына Манассы, в Галааде, а также область Аргова в Башане, включая шестьдесят больших, обнесённых стенами городов с бронзовыми засовами на воротах);

14 Ахинадав, сын Иддо, – в Маханаиме;

15 Ахимаац – в земле рода Неффалима (он женился на Басемафе, дочери Сулеймана);

16 Баана, сын Хушая, – в земле рода Ашира и в Алоте;

17 Иосафат, сын Паруаха, – в земле рода Иссахара;

18 Шимей, сын Елы, – в земле рода Вениамина;

19 Гевер, сын Ури, – в Галааде (в стране Сигона, царя аморреев, и Ога, царя Башана). Он один был наместником над этими землями.

20 Народ Иудеи и Исраила был многочислен, как песок на морском берегу; они ели, пили и веселились.

21 И Сулейман правил всеми царствами от реки Евфрата до земли филистимлян и до самой границы Египта. Эти страны платили дань и служили Сулейману во все дни его жизни.

22 Каждый день ко двору Сулеймана поставлялось более четырёх тонн лучшей муки и более восьми тонн муки крупного помола,

23 десять голов крупного скота, откормленного в стойле, двадцать голов крупного скота с пастбища и сто голов мелкого, не считая оленей, серн, косулей и откормленной птицы.

24 Ведь он правил всеми царствами к западу от реки Евфрата, от Тифсаха до Газы, и пребывал в мире со всеми окрестными странами.

25 Во времена жизни Сулеймана Иудея и Исраил жили в безопасности от Дана на севере до Беэр-Шевы на юге – каждый человек под своей виноградной лозой и инжиром.

26 У Сулеймана было четыре тысячи стойл для колесничных коней и двенадцать тысяч коней. .

27 Наместники, каждый в свой месяц, поставляли продовольствие для царя Сулеймана и для всех, кто приходил есть за царским столом. Они смотрели, чтобы ни в чём не было недостатка.

28 Ещё они доставляли в нужное место ячмень и сено для колесничных и прочих коней, каждый свою долю.

29 Всевышний даровал Сулейману мудрость, великую проницательность и глубокий ум, неизмеримый, как песок на морском берегу.

30 Мудрость Сулеймана превосходила мудрость всех людей Востока и всю мудрость Египта.

31 Он был мудрее любого человека, считая и Етана Эзрахитянина, и Емана, и Халкола, и Дарды, сыновей Махола. Его слава прошла по всем окрестным народам.

32 Он произнёс три тысячи мудрых изречений, а песен его было тысяча и пять.

33 Он исследовал жизнь растений – от ливанского кедра до иссопа, что растёт из стен. Он изучал животных и птиц, пресмыкающихся и рыб.

34 Мудрость Сулеймана приходили послушать люди из всех народов, от всех царей мира, которые прослышали о ней.

1 Kings

Chapter 4

1 So Solomon was king over all Israel.

2 And these were the princes whom he had: Azariah the son of Zadok the priest;

3 Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.

4 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the army; and Zadok and Abiathar were priests;

5 And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the governors; and Zabur, the son of Nathan, the priest, was the king's friend;

6 And Abinshar was over the household; and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the tribute.

7 And Solomon had twelve governors over all Israel, who provided food for the king and his household and for the army; each month of the year it fell on one of them to supply provisions.

8 And these are their names: the son of Hur, who ruled in mount Ephraim;

9 The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Beth-shemesh, and Elon-beth-hanan;

10 The son of Hesed, in Raboth to him belonged Socoth, and all the land of Hepher;

11 The son of Abinadab, in Naphatdor, who had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife;

12 Baana the son of Ahilud, who ruled in Taanach and Megiddo, and in all Beth-shean, which is beside Zartan, below Jezreel, from Beth-shean to Abel-meholah, as far as the other side of Nekemaam;

13 The son of Geber, in Ramoth-gilead; to him belonged the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh; to him also belonged the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, sixty great cities with wails and bronze bars;

14 Ahinadab the son of Iddo, in Mahanaim;

15 Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife;

16 Baana the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth;

17 Jehoshaphat the son of Paroh, in Issachar;

18 Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin;

19 Geber the son of Uri was in the land of Gilead, the country of Sihon king of the Amorites and of Og king of Bashan; and the governors ruled in the land.

20 Judah and Israel were as many in multitude as the sand which is by the sea; they ate and drank and made merry.

21 And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the river which is in the land of the Philistines as far as the border of Egypt; and his subjects brought presents and served Solomon all the days of his life.

22 And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour and sixty measures of meal,

23 Ten fat oxen and twenty oxen out of the pastures and a hundred sheep, besides harts and gazelles and roe, bucks and fatted fowls.

24 For he had dominion over all the region on this side of the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side of the river; and he had peace on all sides round about him.

25 And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all the days of Solomon.

26 And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots and twelve thousand horsemen.

27 And those governors supplied provisions for King Solomon and for all who came to King Solomon's table, every man in his month; they lacked nothing.

28 Barley also and straw for the horses and the dromedaries they brought to the place where the officers were, every man as it was his due.

29 And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart,

30 So that Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the people of the east and all the wisdom of the Egyptians.

31 For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Easterner, and Heman, and Calcol and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his fame was in all the nations round about.

32 And he spoke three thousand proverbs; and his songs were a thousand and five.

33 And he spoke of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even to the, hyssop that springs out of the wall; he spoke also of beasts and of fowl and of creeping things and of fishes.

34 And there came men from all nations to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth; and he received presents from all kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom.

1 Царь Сулейман правил всем Исраилом.

1 So Solomon was king over all Israel.

2 Вот его главные сановники:

7 And Solomon had twelve governors over all Israel, who provided food for the king and his household and for the army; each month of the year it fell on one of them to supply provisions.

8 And these are their names: the son of Hur, who ruled in mount Ephraim;

12 Baana the son of Ahilud, who ruled in Taanach and Megiddo, and in all Beth-shean, which is beside Zartan, below Jezreel, from Beth-shean to Abel-meholah, as far as the other side of Nekemaam;

13 Бен-Гевер – в Рамоте Галаадском (ему принадлежали селения Иаира, сына Манассы, в Галааде, а также область Аргова в Башане, включая шестьдесят больших, обнесённых стенами городов с бронзовыми засовами на воротах);

13 The son of Geber, in Ramoth-gilead; to him belonged the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh; to him also belonged the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, sixty great cities with wails and bronze bars;

14 Ахинадав, сын Иддо, – в Маханаиме;

14 Ahinadab the son of Iddo, in Mahanaim;

15 Ахимаац – в земле рода Неффалима (он женился на Басемафе, дочери Сулеймана);

15 Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife;

16 Баана, сын Хушая, – в земле рода Ашира и в Алоте;

16 Baana the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth;

17 Иосафат, сын Паруаха, – в земле рода Иссахара;

17 Jehoshaphat the son of Paroh, in Issachar;

18 Шимей, сын Елы, – в земле рода Вениамина;

18 Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin;

19 Гевер, сын Ури, – в Галааде (в стране Сигона, царя аморреев, и Ога, царя Башана). Он один был наместником над этими землями.

19 Geber the son of Uri was in the land of Gilead, the country of Sihon king of the Amorites and of Og king of Bashan; and the governors ruled in the land.

20 Народ Иудеи и Исраила был многочислен, как песок на морском берегу; они ели, пили и веселились.

20 Judah and Israel were as many in multitude as the sand which is by the sea; they ate and drank and made merry.

21 И Сулейман правил всеми царствами от реки Евфрата до земли филистимлян и до самой границы Египта. Эти страны платили дань и служили Сулейману во все дни его жизни.

21 And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the river which is in the land of the Philistines as far as the border of Egypt; and his subjects brought presents and served Solomon all the days of his life.

22 Каждый день ко двору Сулеймана поставлялось более четырёх тонн лучшей муки и более восьми тонн муки крупного помола,

22 And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour and sixty measures of meal,

23 десять голов крупного скота, откормленного в стойле, двадцать голов крупного скота с пастбища и сто голов мелкого, не считая оленей, серн, косулей и откормленной птицы.

23 Ten fat oxen and twenty oxen out of the pastures and a hundred sheep, besides harts and gazelles and roe, bucks and fatted fowls.

24 Ведь он правил всеми царствами к западу от реки Евфрата, от Тифсаха до Газы, и пребывал в мире со всеми окрестными странами.

24 For he had dominion over all the region on this side of the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side of the river; and he had peace on all sides round about him.

25 Во времена жизни Сулеймана Иудея и Исраил жили в безопасности от Дана на севере до Беэр-Шевы на юге – каждый человек под своей виноградной лозой и инжиром.

25 And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all the days of Solomon.

26 У Сулеймана было четыре тысячи стойл для колесничных коней и двенадцать тысяч коней. .

26 And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots and twelve thousand horsemen.
